| Breakfast in Bethlehem is a transformation of the church into the streets of Bethlehem at the time of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Families have the opportunity to have breakfast and walk the streets of Bethlehem where children have the opportunity for hands-on interaction at the different shops like Mary's Kitchen, Joseph's Carpenter Shop, the Synagogue School, and the stable. | ||

The City Rescue Mission offers food, shelter, clothing and intervention to the homeless, hungry, fire victims, abused victims, unemployed and natural disaster victims. It provides services for drug and alcohol addiction. The Sankey Youth Center gives children a structured environment with tutoring, crafts, sports and Bible Study. For short term emergency stays the Covenant House is available. The Men’s Ministry Program offers a chance for those coming to the Mission to plan how they can improve their skills and abandon destructive habits. The Mission also operates a Family Care Food Bank. Mr. Kevin Green is the Executive Director. |

The Camping Association operates two campgrounds which have been serving youth and families for over half a century. Camp Lambec is located on the shores of Lake Erie. Westminster Highlands is located in Emlenton, PA. |

Caring Hearts is a ministry of Christian outreach and care to the people of San Luis, Mexico. Their primary mission is to support Bethel Orphanage. Caring Hearts pays for the staff, food and facilities as no government money is available. The Good Samaritan Feeding Center supports children in one of the poorest areas in San Luis. Men are equipped to share the Word of God through Doors of the Word Bible School conducted as a part of the ministry. The Oasis Boys Home is a vocational training group home. This provides housing and training for teens. Many people from our congregation have participated in mission trips to San Luis. |

In 2007 the congregation and KidsZone kids began filling an Ark which is now FULL! The gift of an Ark goes around the world—Latin America, Asia, Europe, North America—wherever there is hunger, poverty and hopelessness. |

Lawrence County’s Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry. People in need of decent shelter partner with Habitat in order to build simple, decent homes. Habitat has built 14 homes in Lawrence County. 70-80% of support comes from churches. Applications are considered on the basis of need, ability to repay and willingness to partner with the local Habitat affiliate. Men from our church have been instrumental in the completion of some of the New Castle Habitat homes. Janice Himes is on the Board of Directors and Chairperson of Church Relations Committee. |

Robert F. Stoll founded India Crusade when he realized the many needs of India’s children. There have been village churches built and six children’s homes built. Over 270 children receive care. Bob and his wife, Siromani, live in Ohio and have made many trips to India. They have been diligent in sending letters and pictures of the work that is being done. |

Seneca Hills had over 200 churches send campers to their camp this summer. Our church has sent 75 campers over the past eight years to Seneca Hills. Children and adults from our church have been going to Seneca Hills for the past 35 years for our Winter Retreat. Rev. Runyan serves on the Board of Directors. Rev. Jim Cossin, the CEO, has filled our pulpit many times. |

The Women’s Association has been an ongoing supporter of the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County. Last year 156 mothers and children found emergency shelter and stayed a total of 5,114 nights. Clean beds, warm blankets, food and comfort were provided by a compassionate staff when they arrived. Services are offered free to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other crimes. Shelter, counseling and skills training are some of the services provided. |

Laura Scott began her Guatemala journey in 2004 as a missionary teacher at the Christian Academy of Guatemala. December 15, 2007 Laura merged her life and her mission work with Edgar Cojon as they married in Guatemala. Edgar is the Music Pastor at the Church Iglesia Biblica Lomas del Norte. |

There is no church in the world that has suffered more than the church in the Sudan. In the midst of great turmoil, our God has positioned Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church to experience even more growth. The New Bedford Church through the Presbytery of Shenango helps to support Nile Theological College. Christian pastors and leaders there train evangelists: to establish new churches at Gereif Bible School, to equip Sudanese to teach at Nile Theological College, and to support the growth of the church in the Western Presbytery/Nuba Mountains. |

Bethany is a not-for-profit, pro-life Christian adoption and families services agency. Bethany of Western Pennsylvania provides domestic infant adoption, international adoptions and special-needs adoptions through SWAN. Birth parent counseling services, post adoption counseling and support services are also provided. |

| The Musgraves are a part of SEND International, a non-denominational mission outreach. SEND’s goal is to disciple new believers, develop leaders and plant churches. We had the pleasure of Nathan and Sandy Musgrave and their daughters, Anna and Grace, join us this past summer. They showed slides about their work in China. Sandy graduated from Wilmington Area Schools. She and Nathan met at Moody Bible Institute. | ||
